Experts in the field of social enterprise joined a number of organisations interested in the potential of social enterprise to discuss the opportunities for success and the challenges involved at a recent training session designed and delivered by NICVA’s Skills Development team. The pilot programme on social enterprise support was made possible by the Reaching Communities Northern Ireland (RCNI) development and support programme funded by the BIG Lottery Fund.

Participants from three organisations across Northern Ireland attended the first scheduled training event as part of the Reaching Out: Connecting Older People development and support programme funded by The Big Lottery Fund.

NICVA held its second grant holders information session on Monday 21 November, for another five groups who have awarded grants from the Big Lottery fund’s Reaching Out: Connecting Older People programme.
