NICVA has been involved in a number of voluntary and community sector consultation events across Northern Ireland on the development of a Childcare Strategy for Northern Ireland. NICVA staff took part in round table events in Derry and Armagh during February 2013 and the notes from these events are available below. The notes reflect the discussions that took place and will hopefully help members produce their own responses.

NICVA’s Centre for Economic Empowerment held a consultation event on the draft Northern Ireland Economic Strategy on 23 January 2012 in Belfast. David Sterling, DETI Permanent Secretary addressed the event, together with representatives from the social economy and the business sectors.
