Three ways to keep your donors

It’s hard to raise funds. Harder than it used to be, harder than you want it to be. And it’s not getting any easier.

What do you do? A lot of things, but one of them is make darn sure you’re connecting with your donors.

  1. Drop your ‘luxury’ communications. (“those communications which might please charity staff, but do nothing for donors.”)
  2. Re-double your efforts to find great stories.
  3. Ask donors for what they can afford.
